Based on 25 TAC 289.302, residents of Texas need to meet the below requirements in order to qualify to become a Laser Hair Removal Technician:
- Students need to sign up for a 40-hour didactic program in the laser training school. Once completed, students will receive an LHR Apprentice-in Training Certificate.
- When students receive the LHR Apprentice-in Training Certificate, they need to perform 100 laser hair removal procedures within a 12-months period under the supervision of a Certified Licensed Hair Removal Professional or a Senior LHR Technician.
- After these 100 laser hair removal procedures are accomplished, students can apply for the Laser Hair Removal Technician Certification as well as receive it.
Residents of Texas need to meet the below requirements in order to qualify to become a Laser Hair Removal Technician:
- Students need to complete the above-mentioned requirements to complete their Laser Hair Removal Technician Certification.
- Students need to complete 100 LHR procedures within a 12-months period under the supervision of a Laser Hair Removal Professional.
Residents of Texas need to meet the below requirements in order to qualify to become a Laser Hair Removal Professional:
- Students needs to meet the requirements mentioned above to become a Senior Laser Hair Removal Technician.
- Students need to take a Laser Hair Removal exam which is approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration and pass that exam.
